What is SEO?

SEO stands for “search engine optimization.” In simple terms, SEO means the process of improving your website to increase its visibility in Google, Microsoft Bing, and other search engines whenever people search for:

  • Products you sell.

  • Services you provide.

  • Information on topics in which you have deep expertise and/or experience.

The better visibility your pages have in search results, the more likely you are to be found and clicked on.

How fast will I see results?

Implementing SEO can be a complex process and it's difficult to predict a precise timeline for the results. However, we advise our clients that they should anticipate an increase in website traffic within the first month. After the initial 4 weeks, the growth will continue steadily and consistently every month. This boost in traffic can generate more appointments, leads, and sales for their business.

Can't I just buy Google Ads?

Google Ads are great for businesses looking for a quick fix for their low website traffic. However, it is not a sustainable method of growth, and most businesses need SEO to thrive.  SEO provides consistent results by increasing growth and brand awareness for your company organically. 

 

PPC (Google Ads) also tend to be less cost-effective than SEO, and click-through rates (CTRs) are usually lower. According to Semrush's State of Search 2023 report:

  • Average CTR for paid results = 1.8% on desktop, 0.02% on mobile

  • Average CTR for organic results = 45.1% on desktop, 43.1% on mobile
